Mar 14 - Japan 3.11 - Japan was facing its worst crisis since World War Two

Fukushima is main affected area during earthquake and tsunami. Fukushima Nuclear Power Plan No. 3 reactors have same problem like No. 1 reactors, the cooling system has knocked out.  Staffs tried to release the steam with radiation but failed, No. 3 reactors has explosion on Monday morning.

This explosion caused 11 people injured, included 4 Self-Defense Forces members.


In these few days, government have evacuated around 200,000 inhabitants, also, government has distributed iodine tablets to the people in the shelters in order to to prevent them from once infected radiation can cause thyroid cancer.

About 850,000 households in the north were still without electricity in near-freezing weather, Tohuku Electric Power Co. said, and the government said at least 1.5 million households lack running water. Tens of thousands of people were missing.

Japan Meteorological Station weather forecast expressed that  Fukushima might snow today, Tokyo have rain with winds from northeast.  People so worry radiation will through wind and dust get to Tokyo.

Radioactive clouds will through the atmospheric transport and scattered.  When the radiation cloud eventually become rain or snow, a lot of radioactive substances will follow down to the ground, if the radiation exposure to rain and snow field and water sources of radiation will contaminate food and water.  Human exposure to high concentrations of radioactive water, can cause skin ulcers and other symptoms.


South Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore and the Philippines said they would test Japanese food imports for radiation.



In Tokyo

 In Tokyo, commuter trains shut down and trucks were unable to make deliveries as supermarket shelves ran empty.

Shinjuku become lightness last night. Power company limited provide electricity because of Nuclear accident.  Most of businesses co-operation with government announcement as use less electricity - Department store close early, many shops switch off their light outside their shop.

In Fukushima
After the earthquake, Gasoline and Food start running out in Fukushima.  

Tomomi Goton 19-year-old resident said that all supermarkets have no food for sale. Even the Government called on residents whose living near nuclear power plants to retreat, but they faced no gasoline and other issues, they want to leave but they cannot.

Now, people in Fukushima guess their food and clear water only can last no more then 3 days.

In Iwate
Iwate Prefecture is one of hardest hit areas, local officials Sato said, they are keep asking government for help, but the affected area from this disasters is too wide, food and water are very demanding, they understand the Government has exhausted. He said: "The government only can distribute 10% of what we really needed, our people only eat one orange today, but we will be patient, because all the victims are suffering. "

Affected areas are lack of food, clear water and other daily necessities, but under this circumstances, Japanese people once again let the world see them self-discipline, perseverance, cool features, no mater at affected areas of Sendai or the capital Tokyo, the reporter saw along the way are organized, there is no rush, no dispute plunder, from government officials to the civilian, there is no blame on this disaster and they don't blame anyone.  They give full play to the big and national solidarity.

Mar 13 - Japan 3.11 - Raditation from Nuclear Plant Explosion

The Earthquake level adjusted from 8.9 to 9.

Japan's nuclear crisis was triggered by twin disasters (Earthquake and Tsunami) on Friday

Four nuclear plants in northeastern Japan have reported damage, but the danger appeared to be greatest at the Fukushima Dai-ichi nuclear complex, where one explosion occurred Saturday and a second was feared.

Japanese officials warned of a possible second explosion at a nuclear plant as they raced to stave off multiple reactor meltdowns.

The melting of the radioactive core — could release uranium and dangerous contaminants into the environment and pose major, widespread health risks.

Residents within about 12 miles (20 kilometers) of the Dai-ichi plant were ordered to evacuate as a precaution.  More than 180,000 people have evacuated the area, and up to 160 may have been exposed to radiation.

When everyone worry about the radiation explosion, one staff who work in Nuclear Plant and he expressed that "Even I will get killed, I still will try everything I can to prevent nuke reactor meltdowns".  He completely expressed Japanese self-sacrifice spirit in order to protect their country.

If stabilize the reactor procedure fail, the staffs in Nuclear Plants will be the first group of people get killed.

After Nuclear Plant Explosion, Government cannot supply enough electricity.

Mar 12 - Japan 3.11 - Earthquake and Tsunami

One big wave, few minutes, destroyed the whole city

This is biggest earthquake in Japan, the Tsunami have at least 10 meters high, some areas were totally destroyed.












I read the news about Japan government and Japanese who live in Japan after this disaster.

Japan government ordered all the supermarket and convenient store give food and drink to people for free, then government will pay this bill later.

Even under this big disaster, people have a lot of stress, the internet and phone network totally down, all the people try to leave or try to go home as soon as they can, but Japanese have very strong self discipline，everything still in order, they are line up as usual, one by one, no matter to shop for the food or get into the evacuate bus, no one scream, no one push and no one cut into the line.  The news reporter said this is only happen in Japan.....Japanese are too beyond in human being.

Japanese cannot stop the nature disaster but they could help each other after disaster.

Government efficient respond and arrangement, people have strong self discipline help them miminize the demage and mess after disaster.

Even Japanese gang group come out and help those people whose lost home or cannot go home, their efficiency can compare with professional evacuate team. 

Foreigner who live in Japan describe Japanese like ants, the big wave destroyed their routine but they can build the new one very quick.

Many young people sleep on the street, they are not homeless, they are white collar who work in commercial center, they cannot go home because the train and long distant bus has stop after earthquake.

Government open all government office buildings and let people sleep there.

 Japanese find their spot in shelter, read the news about after disaster and waiting for the food.  People are calm and quiet.
